| Abstract |
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
This home at 24 Circle Street is a Cape Style with Georgian features. It is a good example of Early Colonial Architecture. Circle Street was laid out before 1700, called a highway in 1716, a lane in 1738, the highway leading into Ingalls Beach in 1767, Oakum Bay in 1806 and Circle Street as early as 1828. It was originally a double family residence but the present use is as a single family residence.
