| Abstract |
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
5 Elm Street was owned by John Trevett in 1686. He sold it to his son who sold it to Ebenezer Hawkes who then sold it to a fisherman of the name Richard Bessom Sr. After this time it was used as a warehouse, Inn, blacksmith's shop cordwainer's shop and others with not much importance. Also, there is a ghost story connected with this house that is very interesting. |
