Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
Twenty five Elm Street is a two story Colonial home. The original owner was John Shaw and he was a cordwainer.
The Orne House "It had been in the family for ninety four years, built by John Shaw, from some trees and some shears. The House fit right in snug on Elm Street, where John Shaw made shoes for his neighbors feet."
From Poem on page 8 of the green Electives Folder.
