Abstract Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey

The house has been used for a variety of purposes since it was built. It began its existence as a farm house but soon after, it became the residence of Erasmus Ware, a Marblehead sea captain. After a long ownership, Ware transferred the land to a Marblehead shoe manufacturer. It was also owned by L. Frances Herroshoff, famous naval architect, who used it as a workshop.
