Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
Thirty six Front Street is Colonial Georgian. Some interesting sidelights: the right side mirrors the left side (original) in construction. One room in left side of house practically destroyed by fire. Has been rebuilt. House contains trap doors, possible slave quarters in garret and hoofprints in the floor (possible stable) . Doors and floor boards are marked with similar H's. Large board-front hall.
