Abstract Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey

Eighty Front Street shows the past history of the fishing industry that was once in Marblehead. From 1748 into late in the Nineteenth Century a family named Twisden owned this house and relied on the sea for a living.

Next to 80 Front Street is the old Three Cods Tavern. General John Glover (Revolutionary War) lived two houses away on Glover Square.
