| Abstract |
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
The four creators who did the research of the house located on 166 Green Street named it the Courtis Farm because they thought it seemed to bear the most importance. The house was the home of the Courtis' for over fifty years. Their farm spread throughout Naugus Head. The land was owned originally by Thomas Calley and they Calley's owned this land from 1674 to the middle 1800's. See The History of the Courtis Farm on page 1. |
