| Abstract |
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
This is an Early American style house but it was built during the late Georgian and Federalist period. The original fireplaces have been blocked up. It was used as a bakery and is located near a very old graveyard. A confusing phase of the deed research involved 35 Harris Street. Between the years 1928 and 1942 the Marblehead Humane Society sold it to Lillian Bessom, and then the deed where Ann Walsh sold the house to Lillian Bessom. See History of David Bowler House on page 32. |
