| Abstract |
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
Historical Importance: This house, from 1766-1779, was the residence of the Reverend William Whitwell, who was the fourth minister of the Old North Church. Although 20 High Street looks like one house from the outside, it is actually divided into two houses with separate owners. Also, the house across the street used to be the old Gerry School somewhere before 1906. A House History is on page 54. |
