Description
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey The builder was Captain John Brown (from England) and the style was Poor Man's Early Georgian. There was an unusual amount of fireplaces in this house and it is thought to have been once used as a house that kept its fires so that if your own fire went out, you could come there to cook your food. The kitchen was also used as a shop, but the type is unknown. The History of 10 Lee Street is on page 25 in the Requirements Folder.
