Description 
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey Lookout Court has a formal garden and a cordwainers shop in the back yard. Lookout Court was the highest point in Marblehead and this is where people went to see the incoming ships. Lookout Court and much of the neighborhood was common land in the early 1700's. In 1870, the cordwainer Edward Hammond, sold the house to Benjamin Hawkes. who sold the house to Ellen Hammond in 1879.
