Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey Historical Importance: a cordwainer ship is in the back of the house in a little shed; one of the owners relatives, Richard Dixey, rode the first ferry from Naugus Head to Salem. The owners name was John Dixey. Interesting Sidelights: Interesting history of Orne Street and the surrounding area in the black Electives Folder - Fountain Park, Old Burial Hill, and many homes.
