Description
Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey The Old Moll Pitcher House on Orne Street, known in earlier days as The Old Brig, still stands today. The house was the birthplace of Moll, who acquired dubious fame as a fortune teller. Originally built in 1654, the house has been largely restored. It has been open to the public on special occasions. Included in this research are newspaper clippings from the Lynn Item in 1953. It was a series of famous homes and historical treasures in Historic Marblehead.
