| Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey The historical importance of this home: first post office in Marblehead and also served as a tavern and a butcher shop. The added side of the house was used as an inn (81 Washington St.). It was mentioned as Calico House in the novel "The Hearth and Eagle". The slide show information (slides 1-18) is described in detail even though there are no slides in the folder. |
