Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey
This historical home on 147 Washington Street was the home of Nathaniel Hooper, noted 19th Century lawyer and church deacon. Also home of Squire William Fabens (19th Century lawyer) and the real estate office that used to be attached to the home. Nathaniel Hooper was well known for his generosity. He was well known among fishermen as the "Oracle" for his settling of controversies.
