It) reminds some of us of the days when polio was a feared disease and all of us of the days when there was a hospital on Widger Road" The folder contains A. Drayton, Arthur Jannell (Chairman for Essex County National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis- March of Dimes), and an unknown man.; B. a note describing the photo; C. a photo copy of the Report of the Board of Health (Marblehead) for 1954 describing the test of the Salk Vaccine in Marblehead.; and D. a copy of the letter sent to the donor, Holly Jannell, by the Board of Selectmen thanking her for the photo. |
