It includes the town warrant for the town meeting of 17 March 1884 which consist of 20 articles. Art.19 reads "To see what provisions and arrangements the town will make, concerning habitual truants and children between the ages of seven and fifteen years who may be found wandering about in the streets or public places of Marblehead, having no lawful occupation or business, not attending school, and growing up in ignorance; agreeably to the petition of the School Committee."
This report contains the names of many persons who lived in and worked for or sold goods to the town in 1884. But there are too many to list.
