This edition of the paper front page included an advertisement and item about the National Grand Bank's Liberty Loan Bonds, articles about the new movie machine at the Lyceum Theater, "Clean-Up Week",the town's opposition to abolishing half price trolly fares for school children, a new deck division to follow the Tenth Deck Division for the US Navy, a birthday surprise, two men fined for selling liquor, and the freight agent's preparations to ship the planes to the navy made by the Burgess Aeroplane Company. |
