Page 1) Ensign Richard E. Bell was detached for transfer for studies at M.I.T. towards a transfer from a Line Officer to the Construction Corp. Second section explains the Navy's training program at M.I.T., Rensselaer Polytechnic Inst. and the Finance and Supply School at Philadelphia.
Third sections notes the reporting aboard of LT(jg) Stever and Ens Oelheim
Page 2) The Masthead, (a newspaper term for info on the publisher, editors etc.) A notice the publication for the forthcoming cruise as each edition will give information on the next port of call. The last item was about the Basketball team and game.
Page 3) First item is about the Wrestling team, second section Semi-Finals Boxing and Wresting, last section Finals Boxing and Wrestling.
Page 4) First item Baseball Team played the John Paul Jones (destroyer)and the Augusta (cruiser) in the Rizal Stadium in Manila, second item Softball team played the Canopus (submarine tender)
