Page 1) This page contains two short poems and four jokes.
Page 2) This page contains The Masthead, (a newspaper term for info on the publisher, editors etc.) and contains three bits of gossip, an article about who would be eligible for transfer and transportation back to the US on the USS Henderson on July 9. One hundred and thirty five men will be leaving so that there would be very few men remaining of the crew that brought the Marby (USS Marblehead) to China in August 1937. To fill the page is a two line joke.
Page 3) This page contains an article about rumors of another cruise to various liberty ports, an announcement of an upcoming annual inspection, two jokes, and announcement of examinations for promotions.
Page 4) This page contains news that the Destroyer division that the Marblehead work with will be transfered to the US and two new ones will replace them, a joke, short article about leave in Peking for two parties of 40 men each, a poem "Ode to a China-Sailor," and a request for material for this newspaper since they are going to their "Summer Home Port," Tsingtao.
