Page 1)This page contains The Masthead, (a newspaper term for info on the publisher, editors etc.) congratulations to Lt. E. T. Seaward on his promotion to Lt. Cdr., and Radio Electrician G. R. Strickland on his promotion to Warrent Officer, It also had an Editorial requesting constructive criticisms and articles of interest from the crew. Notice was made that Hallowe'en was quiet.
Page 2) This page contains a Naval notice that the Navy will increase from 116,000 men to 145,000 men and men honorably dichcharged less than 8 years previous could re-enlist at their old rate. thoes over 8 years out could re-enlist as Seaman 1class or Fireman 3 class. The next article compared the "Old Navy" with the current Navy.
Page 3) This page contains has an article on the ship's softball teams and one on the fleet baseball standings. It had a comical rundown on the previous weeks activities with many misspellings and a short paragraph of jokes.t
