| A reduced copy of:
A supplement to the Wednesday, June 16, 1926 edition of the Marblehead Messenger.
It consist of 4 pages on one sheet titled "The Real Way to See Marblehead, Mass." written by William Jackson of M.I.T.
This sheet is a photo copy of the back page of the supplement and describes with many photos buildings and locations in the town.
The left side continues the story from the front page at the Gerry house and goes to The Old North Church (with photo), Evelyn Bray House, Glover House, the Old Tavern (Three Cods) (with photo), Skipper Flood Ireson House, Lovis Beach and the Shrieking Woman (with photo), Pirate House, Fort Sewall (with photo), & Selman House.
The right side of the sheet contains: The Home of Capt. Selman's Father, Parson Barnard House,, Pickett House, Orne House, Spite House, "Old Brig" (with photo), "Mammy Redd- The Witch, Agnes Surriage Well (with photo), Old Burying Hill and Barnegat Village.
There are also photos of the Harbor in the summer full of boats, the Light House, Fort Beach, Catholic Club and Corinthian Club House on the Neck. |
