Description 
A booklet in poor condition containing the town report for the year 1 March 1864 to 1 March 1865. This was the final full year of the Civil War and the largest expenditures were Bounties Paid to Volunteers $25,950.00 and Aid to Families of Volunteers $ 31,100.00. Included in this report are reports from the Selectmen, The Surveyors of Highways, School Committee, The Fire Wards, The Overseers of the Poor and Thomas Swasey, the Collector. There are many persons who supplied goods or services to the town mentioned in this report.
