This paper discuses the problems with the crowding of town offices in Abbot Hall, the need for more office space and three sites that may be purchased for a town office building, other alternate sites, interim solutions, a town museum, the Old Town House, and the pros and cons of each site. This is from a time frame of about 1970. It does not mention the Mary A. Aley Hospital building. |
