A B&W photo of Martha and Roger Burlingham, the children of Raymond O. Burlingham a long time Marblehead Town Engineer and his wife Ruth A. Burlingham. It was taken in the yard of his home at 8 Mechanic Square in 1939. Martha would have been 8 and Roger 10-11. Behind them is a picket fence and the parking lot behind the Gerry School. In the background is the Ramsdell/Roberts House on Mechanic Court and the white house is 9 Mechanic Street which belonged to the Cloon family who owned the hardware store at the corner of Washington and State Streets. |
