| A B&W photo of six men standing outside a brick building. From left, they are: Bowden Osborne, Frank N. Osborne, Gordon ("Chucko") Chapman, Albert or Glover Smith, "Jugo" Clark, Bud Arey. These names come from a number of responses to publication of this photo in the Reporter on Nov. 15, 2007 and again on Jan. 10, 2008. An included note suggests that this could be the YMCA building on Pleasant Street. The photo is most likely taken in the alleyway between the Osborne Grocery Store and the YMCA, or on the sidewalk in front of the YMCA. The back of the photo has the notation: "Photograph by R. B. Attridge". c. 1940. |
