Description B&W photo taken May 5, 1898 of Major Frank A. Graves, Marblehead Light Infantry, Company C, 8th Regiment, M.V.M. (Massachusetts Volunteer Militia). He is in uniform with a side sword and a bullet belt. The 1899 - 1900 Naumkeag Directory lists a Frank A. Graves as owning a home at 18 Rowland St., with a profession of travelling salesman.
