| Description |
Black & white photo of USS Marblehead moored fore and aft in an unidentified harbor. Moored close by are two merchant ships. One named "Urola" with a large black "B" on a white background on her stack. She is painted black. The other is slightly smaller, black with a white boottop. Around these ships are several small boats and a tugboat. In the middleground there is a mole, with a road, projecting out to protect the harbor. On the land side of the mole (in the center of the photo) there is a white lighthouse and several white buildings. Alongside of the mole, inside the harbor are 8 smaller ships or fishing boats, one of which has a large crane. In the distance, still inside the harbor, is a crowded small boat marina. |
