B&W photo taken c. 1900 of the Punchard children by Helen Punchard. The children are standing in a street, with Abbot Hall tower in the background. The childrens' names are on the back of the photo. According to the 1914 Directory of Marblehead (Henry M. Meek Publishing) (Object ID 2001-070-0588), page 957, Helen L. Punchard, waitress, boarded at 20 Nicholson Hill, and J. Frank Punchard, painter, had a house there. There is no mention of the children. Helen does not appear in the 1899-1900 Naumkeag Directory of Marblehead, although J. Frank is listed there as a boarder at 20 Nicholson Hill. |
