Description B&W photo taken in 1914 of Sarah Gregory who was the librarian at the Abbot Public Library for 50 years. She is seated in a wicker chair and holding a book, the symbol of her office.The photo is in a cover titled: "With the Season's Greetings from S. E. G. 1914". On the back is written "Sartorial Splendor", referring to Mrs. Gregory's clothing in the photo. The 1914 Naumkeag Marblehead Directory lists Sarah F. Gregory, living at "43 Sewall St., widow of William D. Gregory, and librarian Abbot public library".
