A B&W photo dated 1889, of the "Misses S. and Miss S." The photo shows one child and 3 young women on the back steps of a house. A broom is leaning against the bulding. Visible in the background is laundry hanging on a line and a dirt road with a rail fence on both sides of the road. No other buildings are visible. In the lower right of the backing paper is the parenthetical notation "(Sl. Inst.)". |
