B&W Photo of Atlantic Ave. early 20th century taken fro Abbot Hall Tower. The photo shows Bennetts Harness Maker's Shop on the present (2005) site of the Marblehead Savings Bank parking lot and The Atlantic Garage just beyond Hawkes Street on Atlantic Ave. In the street there are both early automobils and horse drawn wagons. There are no houses beyond Chestnut Street to Wyman Rd. or Bubier Rd. and no grandstand on Sea Side Park or Star of the Sea Church. |
