Photo of Boston Branch Furniture Co. on Pleasant street near Rail Road Depot with horse drawn wagons and weed filled lot where the Memorial Park is now. Showing part of Sewall Street. The building between the depot and the furniture store is the Woodfins' Bros. Express Company. A wagon and team of horses are in front of the express company. In the background, the large square house and its adjacent barn (near the present corner of Guernsey and Sewall streets) belonged to Benjamin Wormstead Woodfin and Elizabeth Wheeler Woodfin - he co-owned the express company with his sons. |
