| Description |
B&W photo of Maverick Square (Cook's Corner) during a parade with two horse drawn floats in the street . The Mugford Building is covered with bunting. The men wear straw hats and the women have long dresses that cover their shoes. The street light looks like a gas lamp. The streets are packed dirt and the gutters have smooth beach stones. One boy on the first float has a gun and a Civil War uniform. It is probably the 4th of July in the late 19th century, about noon. |
