Abstract A single sheet of paper with a map of Marblehead on one side and a political poster on the other.
The poster is for the election of Martin Leo Jones as assessor and is signed by Leo H. Jones of 49 Smith St., David P Keefe of 58 Brackett Pl., and Brad Bates of 6 Ferry Lane.
The map includes all of Marblehead along the harbor from Fort Sewall to Chestnut Street and as far inland as Pond, Elm Streets and the Robinson Farm at the end of Abbot Street. the map is dated 1879 and includes the buildings and houses but not Abbot Hall. In the upper left corner and upper center there are list of local merchants and shoe manufacturers.
