Abstract A poem titled: "Marblehead" found attached to the back of a framed map of Marblehead. This poem is in calligraphy and has a colored border containing: an American shield, two dates 1776 and 1789, two shields of Massachusetts, a full rigged ship and a sloop, the seal of Marblehead, a sea gull and a fish, and other decorations. It is signed by Alexander MacPhedran, New York, NY, August , 1936 and is written in an Old English type of script.
