| Description |
A wooden (with brass inserts) Bit Brace with a set screw for holding bits with a 1/4" square and a sweep of 7". It does not have a ratchet action. There is a name which starts with "TILL T N a heart, crown and an X and the word SHIFFIELD" and other too fine to read, and "SCL ACTING BRACE, REGISTERED APRIL 12, 1848" all stamped in the brass chuck. The set screw is missing. |
