A B&W photo of the "Doe House" taken in 1889. This is 73 Green Street. A woman and two children are standing in front of the house. Neither the 1886 or 1889 Naumkeag Directories list a Doe as living on Green Street, so it is not certain when this house was built. To the left of the building is a corn field. |
