Record 459/1139 Catalog Record Objects Exhibit Page Home Search Description  Eight round brass tags and a small key on a string. The key has no identification. Each brass tag has the letter "C" and "B. & M.R.R." In addition each tag has one of a series of numbers from "58" to "65." Tags such as these were used to control the use of small tools in a tool crib. When a worker took a tool from the crib he would leave one of his brass tags to indicate who had that tool. The key might be to the tool crib.
