Abstract A booklet of poems by Wallace Weed, the mailman poet, prepared for the Bicentennial.
On the title page there is a copy of a painting of Wallace Weed as a mailman.
It is divided into three sections with several poems in each section.
First section: TOWN
Poems: Marblehead, In Marblehead, The Old Burying Hill, Fort Sewall, The Old Tavern, The Old Lee Mansion, The Old Town House and Saint Michaele.

Second section: LEGENDS
Poems: Tom Bowen's Church, Parson Walton's Dole, Goodman Gatchell' Impiety, Red Bottomed Bats, Ye Cow-Lease Allotments, The Old Meeting-House Lean-To, The "Injun Claims," The Pinkies, The Loss of the Only Son, The Lost Heritage, The Star Witness, The Great Gale.

Third Section: PEOPLE
