The back of the cover is a cartoon about two sailors dancing while two girls sit and watch. Page 1)This page contains The Masthead, (a newspaper term for info on the publisher, editors etc.) It also that Lt (jg) K. B. Smith has been detached and Ens Groves ( the editor of this paper) was sent to Pensacola for flight training. The last item was the results of the basketball season with Marblehead tied for second place. Page 2) This page contains a report of a farewell party, an item about the Ship Worm and another about Wisdom. Page 3) This page contains essay titled "The One Fellow That Can Hurt You" which is yourself. Page 4) This page is full of ship's gossip and two jokes. |
