Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
The original owner of 92 Front Street was John Goodwin. It was his residence and work shop.
The house was built on Col. Jonathan Glover's (brother of the famous Gen. John Glover) garden. It was built by Joseph Goodwin. Cannons were placed in the yard to protect Col. Glover during small pox war. Once owned by Myra Duffield who dedicated her life to helping orphaned boys. Restored by Myra Duffield. Home of national treasurer of N.O.W. |
