Abstract Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey

The land was owned by John Peach in the 1700's. John Reagen built a wharf and used it for his ballast business. Mr. Reagen would have smaller ships come and load up with ballast to take to bigger vessels in Marblehead Harbor. The property is located in the part of town called Barnegat. The house is located near Black Joe's Tavern, a famous old tavern in Marblehead. The house is also near Old Burial Hill.
