Abstract Pickett House on 10 Franklin Street, was the home of famous sea Captain Richard James who was chased by the British in his merchant vessel.
It has been a home for Marblehead widows for over 100 years since it was given to the Town for that puropse by Moses A. Pickett in 1854.
