Abstract This file contains 7 files, A through G all on rag paper and except G written by pen and ink. G is in pencil and has no date. A through F are reports of the auditors of the town treasurer in the 1700's.

A) This document is a sheet of rag paper 16" X12.75" folded into 4 pages each 12.75" X 8". It contains the auditors report on the town treasurer for the period ending March 27, 1730 and is signed by John White, Samuel Bowden, and William Goodwin. The amounts are listed in Pounds, Shillings and Pence.

B) This document is a sheet of rag paper 14.75" X12" folded into 4 pages each 14.75" X 6". It contains the auditors report on the town treasurer for the period ending May 12, 1746 and is signed by William Goodwin, John Procter and Benjamin Stacey, Jr. The amounts are listed in Pounds, Shillings and Pence.

C) This document is a sheet of rag paper 115.25" X12.5" folded into 4 pages each 12.25" X 7.625". It contains the auditors report on the town treasurer for the period ending May 20, 1749 and is signed by William Goodwin and Jacob Fowle. The amounts are listed in Pounds, Shillings and Pence.

D) This document is a sheet of rag paper 8" X 12.75" folded into 4 pages each 6.375" X 8". It contains the auditors report on the town treasurer for the period ending May 20, 1751 and is signed by Nathan Bowden, and William Goodwin. The amounts are listed in Pounds, Shillings and Pence.

E) This document is a sheet of rag paper 15" X9"on written on both sides. It contains the report of "The Committee appointed by the Town January 28 1782 for the purpose of consolidating the Collection Books of Taxes, - Town orders, adjusting the amount, with the Town Treasurer, for Fines received from the In habitants by Draft by several past. - Bounties paid Solders for the Towns Quota, for the Continental Army and proceed to said (Unreadable), and beg leave to report to Marblehead, March 7, 1783. Signed Edward Fettiplace, Thomas Gerry, Richard Harris. The amounts are listed in Pounds, Shillings and Pence.

F) This document is a sheet of rag paper 12.875" X 8". Details on one side in ink and a title on the other side in ink. It contains the report of "The Committee to examin and adjust the Treasurer's accounts, have attended that service and Report" Signed on March 17, 1798 by Eliezer Story and Joshua Prentiss. The sums are in dollers.

G) This document is a sheet of rag paper 7.875" X 5.75" It appears to be written in pencil with the signitures in ink. No date, signed by Capt. William R. Adamage, N. B. Martin, and Capt. William Hooper.
