In 1747 there is an invoice from Eben Stacey which included an item "To 132 (or 732 not clear) feet Planks for Bridge going to neck . 3.6--" (three shillings and six pence) Was the causeway broached ? In 1742 (the year Frankland came to build the Fort which became Fort Sewall) William Goodwin submitted and invoice "To waiting on his Excellency ye Capt. General with Mr. Brown" for £5.
