Description 
A copy of a four page speech delivered on August 1st. 2012 by Harry Nahatis (GM Advanced Turboshaft/Turboprop products) of the GE Aviation on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary Ceremony of the birthplace of Marine Corps Aviation. The event was held at Hammond Park. He noted some historical facts about First Lt. Alfred Cunningham in a sea plane constructed here in Marblehead by a company founded by William Starling Burgess. The GE is proud of its long association with Marine Corps Aviation. He presented a plaque and picture on behalf of the employees at GE and thanked the Marine Corp Aviation Assoc. and the Town of Marblehead for being its birthplace.
