| Abstract |
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
The house at 132 Front Street was passed down to Joseph Homan in 1670 from Edward Homan, a merchant who owned 6 pieces of land on Front Street. It was once owned by Daniel Appleton, an architect.
Interesting Sidelights: it has many interesting tales such as Screeching Womans Cove and the tales of the Three Cods Tavern. See the History of 132 Front Street on page 28. |
