Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
This Federalist home at 134 Front Street was once owned by Knott Martin. He was a famous Civil War Captain who served as Postmaster of Marblehead after his 3 year army career.
Joseph Homan owned the land until he sold it to the most famous of all the owners, Col. Jeremiah Lee, a wealthy merchant and devoted patriot. His beautiful home, now known as the Lee Mansion, was completed in 1767.
There is also additional Architectural Research in the Requirements Folder. |
