| Abstract |
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
Nicholson lived in this home from 1772 to 1803. He was Captain of the "Hannah" , the first ship in Glovers Regiment. Whenever he went away to sea, he left his children with the famous Hooper family since they only lived down the street. This house used to be overlooking Nick's Cove but since the Boston Yacht Club was built, Nick's Cove is no longer there. The house on 6 Lee Street is of Early Georgian Architecture. There is an Additional Architectural Research (page 33) in the Requirement Folder. A brief biography of Nicholson Broughton on page 4 in the green Elective Folder. |
